COULTER RITES ON SATURDAY Widely Known Lakewood [Ohio] Business Man Dies After Operation for Appendicitis Tentative arrangements for the funeral of Walter D. Coulter, president of the drug and restaurant firm bearing his name, are for services at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the residence, 1311 Edanola Avenue, Lakewood. Burial will be in Lakewood Park Cemetery. Born 48 years ago at Wooster, O., Mr. Coulter came here as a boy. Thirty years ago he began operating a restaurant at Detroit and Sloane avenues and 15 years later added a pharmacy section. His place became a landmark at the east end of Rocky River Bridge. Mr. Coulter was a member of Lakewood and Rocky River Masonic lodges, Cunningham Chapter and Forest City Commandery. He died yesterday at Lakewood Hospital after and operation for appendicitis. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laura Coulter; a son, Walter Coulter Jr.; a brother, Carl M. Coulter, and a sister, Miss Maude Coulter.
