Edwin Pettibone retires 1940

New York Central Agent Retires After 49 Years
Edwin E. Pettibone, assistant general land agent of the New York Central Railroad, with headquarters in Cleveland, was retired today.
Mr. Pettibone started as a draftsman in Cleveland with the engineering department of the N.Y.C. in 1891 and in 1899 was transferred to the land and tax department.
Mr. and Mrs. Pettibone were early settlers in the residential neighborhood near the Cleveland Yachting Club in Rocky River. They live at 235 Riverdale drive.
